Alumni Bench

We at Al Barakah Dates are proud to be part of the AUS Commemorative Bench initiative, a meaningful campaign that has raised over AED 1.2 million in support of student scholarships.
As strong believers in the power of education and community, we’re honoured to contribute to a cause that leaves a lasting legacy—engraving not just names on benches, but opportunities for future generations of AUS students. It’s a privilege to stand alongside AUS alumni and supporters in empowering the next
wave of changemakers.

Al Jalila
Foundation UAE

At Al Barakah Dates Factory, we repurpose byproducts like date seeds, skins, and fibres into useful products such as Date Seed Coffee, powder, animal feed, and compost. This upcycling approach reduces waste, adds value, and supports a circular economy—turning every part of the date into something purposeful.

Khalifa University and
Al Barakah Dates Collaboration

We’re proud to have signed a collaboration agreement with Khalifa University to support research and development in date seed oil extraction and related innovations. By combining their scientific expertise with our industry knowledge, we aim to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of date seed applications. This partnership marks a key step in transforming byproducts into valuable resources—driving innovation that supports both the UAE’s food sector and broader global sustainability goals.

Contribution towards
1 Billion meals

Al Barakah Dates Factory has joined a growing list of individuals, businesses, institutions and charity organisations contributing Dh10 million to the “1 Billion Meals Endowment” campaign.

Supporting The Faraj Fund

Al Barakah Dates proudly supports the UAE’s Faraj Fund in its mission to alleviate the financial burdens of prisoners and reunite families. Through this collaboration, the initiative promotes dignity, social stability, and a second chance for individuals facing hardship.

TAFA

Al Barakah Dates supported the TAFA Football team as a main sponsor during the Abu Dhabi Cup in 2019. The young players played intriguing matches throughout the day at the Zayed Sports City.

TAFA is a Sri-Lanka based football coaching academy that aims to promote sport and fitness as a way of life for people, young and old.
