UOL to start previews for Ang Mo Kio condo at prices from S$1,890 psf

PREVIEWS for new Ang Mo Kio housing development AMO Residence, being constructed as a joint venture by Singapore Land Group, UOL Group and Kheng Leong Company, will begin this Saturday (9th Jul 2022) with rated priced from S$1,890 per square foot upwards.
AMO Residence is the first major housing condominium to launch in Ang Mo Kio for the last 8 years, and will be closely watched to determine market demand and appetite for rates in Singapore’s suburban private residential market. Here is the latest Price List.
More than 80%, or over 300 of the units at AMO Residence, will be 2- or 3-bedroom condo apartments with prices beginning from S$1.26 million and S$1.81 million, respectively. Scarce 4- and 5-bedroom units with private lifts will have rates from S$2.48 million and S$2.85 million respectively.

AMO Residence is being constructed a joint venture of Singapore Land Group, Kheng Leong and UOL Group. UOL controls 60% in the venture, while the other 2 possess a 20% stake each.
The group’s asset and chief investment officer MS Jesline Goh believes that AMO Residence will possibly attract owner-occupiers in the environment of “the short supply of new private residences in the outside of core region (OCR)”, as well as the affordably priced condo units.

They said their other developments, like Avenue South Residence (launched September 2019) and The Watergardens at Canberra (launched August 2021), have “enjoyed swift sales with not many units left”.
